Michele has worked in the field of pediatrics throughout most of her working life. TM Paediatric Hospital in Johannesburg
and changing to the Johannesburg General Hospital' Haematology /Oncology Unit, until a very good family friend suggested that
she study Optomtery as her husband was in the Optical field. So..if you can't beat them you must join them says Michele.
With three very young children, she studied Optometry and furthered her studies in the field of Behavioural and Developmental
Optometry. Michele lectures for various institutions, and gives talks to parents and schools on how the visual system should
function. Michele was invited by the Kennedy foundation to study and bring back to South Africa, the Opening Eyes Program for
Special Olympics, this saw Arnold Schwartzenneger arriving on our shores to add his mark to the program.
Michele, together with Donovan, now have many programs going that assist indigent children in stabilizing there visual systems
so that they can function as normal pupils and students can in furthering their studies.
Donovan has worked in the practice ever since qualifying as an Optical Dispenser.
He is extremely capable when working with children as well as adults. He is calm, thoughtful and well trained in the art of Behavioral Optometry and Sports Vision.
Tania is the lady who will handle all your spectacle problems, she has a penchant for sonically cleaning your spectacles so that they shine and look brand new (once again).
Tania will also service your spectacles on a regular basis, and the best is: she won't charge you, unlike the places you have your vehicle serviced!!!

Amelia has worked in the field of Optometric Assistant for most of her married life. Amelia is our 'whirlwind' she is the motivator, trainer of new staff members, excellent frontliner and has the 'patience' to handle anything that comes her way. She is always smiling and goes out of her way to prove 'Service of Excellence' which is the practice motto. Amelia has also been through the vigorous and in depth training to become a visual therapist.
